Imam Shaheed Satardien
Yes, I’m calling Imam Shaheed Satardien a hero. Radical Islamic terrorists terrorize everyone, including other Muslims. This is a very brave man.
This brave man, who lives in Ireland, is taking a stand against terrorism. Imam Shaheed Satardien was born in South Africa and is a former
anti-apartheid activist. He had to leave that country under death threats and he lost his younger brother to radical Islamic terrorists. His
message is one of self responsibility and for Muslims to stop blaming other religions and the West for all Muslims' problems. He has basically been
cast out of the Dublin Islamic community and has again been receiving death threats.
He says - 'The truth is more important than being popular or living a quiet life. Extremism has infected Islam in Ireland. It's time to get back to
the spiritual aspect of my religion and stop it being used as a political weapon.'
