Its not an option, its only on MSN001, which will be retained by Airbus as their testbed and not sold to a customer.




BTW how does one make a 380 come to a SUDDEN Stop?

The best example is called a rejected takeoff and involves an aircraft at maximum takeoff weight at V1 coming to a full stop in only a few hundred meters. Its quite dramatic.

Most modern civil airliners braking systems capabilities are far in excess of what you see in day to day operations.
