I've been doing more searching and the original Video is most likely impossible to find, I found another thread of folks talking about version 1 - the original video, not the Incident at Lake County, but the ORIGINAL video, you can check out the thread here:

I feel comforted that other people are looking for this and trying to figure out what is going on, on the other hand, something is REALLY weird that there are two videos of similar events that have easily confused this thread and the events and that the Original video is insanely hard to find while the remake video is all over the place.

since my letter was published on www.badmovieplanet.com. Your
descriptions of how the video scared the you-know-what out of you
was greatly appreciated. I look forward to creating more of those
kind of reactions on my next project.

Okay, so here's the scoop on getting my video...

As you read in my letter, we are selling ONLY the ORIGINAL video
that the UPN show was based on, called UFO ABDUCTION (Dick Clark
Productions owns Alien Abduction/McPherson Tape, not me -- sorry).
However, it was my original infamous video that convinced the
entire world-wide UFO community that an actual alien abduction had
finally been captured on video! It was hailed as the greatest UFO
hoax of all time and was featured on the FOX Network paranormal
series ENCOUNTERS. I have included that TV segment for the first
time with this video.

Ya know, I would like nothing more for this to be the real thing but I just cant believe it is. To many fakes and hoaxes over time have just made it hard for me to believe in anything like this.

Nope, this is not the original version. It is the remake.

This remake was made with a MUCH bigger budget, and with various actors that will be familiar to audiences of several TV shows and movies. For example, the chap that played the part of the father in this remake has appeared in the X-Men films, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Smallville and other productions.

The original version used a group of improvisation actors and also actually featured the director himself (Dean Alioto) as one of the actors.

I think I posted these (and other) details from my database of infamous UFO videos earlier in this thread - or in one of the numerous other recent threads about these two videos.

I am a bit confused though, your saying the original footage is also a dramatization and not a video of the actual event? I was under the impression that the original video was taken as the incident happened and was recorded on a camcorder.

Sheesh....apparently I got a lot to learn on this subject lol

theres a possiblity that no one is gonna trust me but i uploaded the remake version to my website.
i shortened the file name to lake county.
The file is also in avi format an abou 508mb.

ive got 2500gigs of bandwidth so i dont expect all my bandwidth to get eaten up.

im also trying to convert it to divx format to upload to stage 6,but that might take longer

It seems you did'nt search anything good. It's right here in my post above
yours. The original film you're looking for. As I explained it's a bootleged
copy from a japanese tv show, the only one that exists. Here we go again.
