why does nasa have to lie?

Topic started on 14-1-2007 @ 01:28 AM by conspiracymaster

whats the deal with nasa? when they find something out of this world or something unexpected ex. STRUCTURES, evidence of water or trees on other planets...

its like they wont say anything untill someone demands them to tell the truth!!! for example i always thought mars was red because thats what NASA told me. but now after reading such threads as this one
www.abovetopsecret.com...

mars does not look read at all. so if nasa can lie about that what makes you think they are telling the truth about life? maybe they even brought some life back but kept it underwraps.

i really dont believe what nasa says anymore. i was a teen when i saw the moonlading and i was smart enough to know it looked pretty fake.

why does nasa lie? they are supposed to discover the unknown, not hide it.

I personally don't get this NASA lying gig.

I mean look at Mars for example. People are always saying the photos don't look red. Well I admit it looks more like pink in some pix...but would they call it the pink planet? All Martian pix taken by spacecraft are digital. Which means lotsa 0's and 1's and the possibility of corruption of data.

No camera takes any picture that looks like it would from the human eye.
But have any of you actually looked at Mars with a telescope? I tell you it has a red hue. You can make it out with the human eye. Maybe conspiracy theorists think that NASA has put a big red filter in orbit so we can't see its true colour?

It was known as the Red Planet before NASA was even thought of. Has the colour conspiracy been going on for all those years?

If they really were concerned about sad loners sitting in their bedrooms looking through their archive photos spotting a mining complex, a picnic spot or a Club 18 -30 resort they would not have released the photos would they. Do people think that some bloke on his own with a copy of Photoshop will discover stuff that NASA couldn't?

I believe that NASA would love to find some sort of proof of something there, to increase their funding. They get it in the neck whatever. I can remember when there was an announcement about the possibility of water being there, some people said it was a convenient statement with talk of its funding coming up.

I do not except it as a possibility that are lying...well not about Mars and the Moon anyway. So what if they did...there are more important issues here on Earth, I reckon. I do get excited about the discovery of space etc but I am becoming more of the opinion that the time and money is better spent elsewhere. The world is in crisis and the answer aint out there....

No matter how many bucks we through at it we aint leaving the neighbourhood yet a whiles

NASA doesn't call the shots. The DoD calls the shots. We are in a race to get to Mars and establish a manned base there before someone else gets there first. The human race is at stake here. We must expand our frontiers or perish on this rock. Putting all our eggs in one basket is just begging for extinction.

I heard that some scientists have worked out that the polar water if melted would cover Mars in water 10 meters deep!!

As for cover up sure they are. If I was responsible for all those Astronauts deaths I would be covering up too.

But the real cover up is the fact that the entire organisation is being manipulated by the Choksondix people. They knew that inquisitive humans will one day strive for the stars and so have taken over NASA to divert funds on fruitless missions to protect humans from the truth. Well that's what their leader Mingeater said to me down the pub the other day while we played Cribbage.. Hes a good Whist player too.

Where there is water, there is life. We could live on mars, and we could use the water there, to maintain a human presence. Why has nasa not started flying building supplies to the mars surface? Or the moon might be a better place to start to build a base. The moon would be a good first stop for interstellar space travel.
Near las Cruces, NM, a privately owned space port is being built right now. This would allow any body with the money to fly into the earth's orbit. If this buisness takes off, it wont be long untill people are going to want to walk on the moon. To infinity and beyond!

Just wondering if you could post a source for that info!

I never heard that before.

I, myself, have yet to hear any information that that ice is so deep, that if it melted, it would cover Mars, let alone in 10 meters in water. I've never heard information at all that says how deep the ice is.

Well this might not be the direct source for the claim that if the Martian Ice caps melted, Mars would be under ten feet of water. Nevertheless, this BBC web article certainly indicates that Mars Ice could flood the planet. Whether Mars is flooded by ten feet of water or whether we simply call it a flood, at least we are well on the way to confirming water on Mars -- ots of it.

NASA doesn't lie, there just caught up in a sense, or rather lack of.

The profile of the current astronauts seems to be under media blare right now. What with diapers and everything.

But, seriously, they are a privatized gov't extension that exist totally for profit. And the more they can create a sense of "privileged" information, the more the investors will pay. Just to know something you don't. However, with this latest 900 mile trek, across land, I'm left in doubts of what knowledge they posses, or have been hiding here to now.

Why is there a race? Isn't there as much risk now as there was 30 years ago to get to mars?

Or is there something else NASA isn't telling us about a comet?
