So if souls are indestructable, what does it mean to cease to exist? You said when renegade souls are caught they "go into the shredder", but if there souls can't be destroyed, what exactly happens to them? I just can't wrap my head around what it would be like to not exist.

The negativity can be banished, controlled, cut back, if effort is made to stop it, but it’s like a cancer that eats at the soul and stops eating when the soul is gone or destroyed beyond hope.

There is a dimension exclusively for dead souls, and that’s where they go.

How many of us humans understand what the heck "existence" is?

Hi IgnoreTheFacts,

I, personally, do understand what you are trying to get across to everyone here. And I agree that most of us who are involved in, study or even have a curious interest in the UFO/ET topics ARE ridiculed and looked down upon as fools by mainstream society.

However, as you know, there are many different perspectives in life. Each and every one of us on ATS (and elsewhere in the world) all have a unique way to see life and everything in it.

I don't really see, though, how someone's opinion or judgement on you, us, Sleeper, etc., should even matter. For you to say what you did, shows a place inside of you that fears ridicule or embarrassment for you own interest. Not really ours.

I am no psychologist, but I've seen in my years that whenever someone attempts to halt a discussion or shut others' mouths.. doesn't actually do so for everyone else's benefit, but for their own. We're all capable of determining what it is that we believe or feel is true.

Many people here enjoy reading what Sleeper has to say (myself included). Should we begin ridiculing him in fear that WE will be ridiculed if we show him kindness and interest? I won't. And I don't believe any of us should.

It pays to keep an open mind, and defend our ability to SPEAK in this world. I may not agree with everything someone says, but that doesn't mean I would try to stop them from saying it. Even if we don't agree with someone's perspective, we can still learn a thing or two from everyone.

In the end, all of us like what we like. We believe what we believe. We feel what we feel. No one can stop or change that. And no one should feel foolish for allowing others to express themselves, regardless of how they choose to express.

Did you ever hve a conversation with an intelligent, articulate well-meaning person with whom you couldn't possibly disagree more? Maybe at a local watering hole where you get involved in a discussion with someone who's likable enough but has some theories you just find untenable. Would you shun that individual (which would be your right) or even ask that they be escorted from the premises (which IMHO would be overstepping)?

Would you encourage others to ignore that person? If it was an enjoyable conversation, would you really be concerned that others saw you talking to that person?

I know the least of my worries is how I'm "taken" by others. In fact, given a choice, I'd just as soon not be taken at all.

I don't understand the immense interest this thread gets and i have been following it on and off (sleepers threads) since about the beginning of '06 and the only proof i've seen is a yellow looking rock (a picture from the aliens are as real as the nose on your face thread). Apart from that, nothing. I mean I've noticed that sleeper and many others are making people who dont accept ideas without proof as closed minded, but anyone with a good imagination and a weird yellow rock could have written the exact same thing, regardless of whether this was true or not.

Also, im not saying this is intentional of sleeper or whether people just seem to be looking for new meaning to their life, whether it helps them overcome the concept of death or just makes this boring reality that little bit more exiting (as they always have done) but it seems like sleepers becoming something of a prophet. I constantly see posts that seem as if they are asking for guidance.

When i was younger the concept of death constantly haunted me and my mother would always reassure me that i'd go to heaven. Of course i would then question christianity by saying, "why do people suffer if god loves us so much?" and the answer would always be "God is so smart that trying to understand his actions would be like a dog trying to understand why a vet is sticking a needle in him". I have long since abandoned my faith in religion as i feel that real tolerance and kindness needs to come from the individual and not from their fear of eternal suffering in pits of fire. But onto the crux of the matter, it seems sleeper is using the same reasoning my mother uses to reassure us that questioning these alien's actions or how their technology, society or communication works would be like an ant taking advanced trigonometry. It's the oldest loophole in the book.

Also please don't ask me why i've followed this thread if i dont believe it. The simple answer is real or not its entertaining and my sincerest complements to sleepers writing ability as i thoroughly enjoyed the blog.
