"The sky is dark, as the dust begins to fall,
Many have died, yet freedoms the toll.
Many would've prefered dying fighting for their rights,
Yet the rockets came totaly out of sight.

No warnings, no sirens, no mercy, no hope,
Freedoms taken, the damage, oh what scope.
Who are we to trust, now's the dawn of a new era,
We are the unwilling victims of government sponsored terror.

When they fear their own citizens, they remove their arms,
Removing all chance of them causing government any harm.
But this is our last right to uphold,
For when this is gone we will truly be owned.

So if you love your country, and freedom you cherish,
Fight for your right now, or else you shall perish.
For police state is coming, hold onto your tush,
It proudly supported by your dear president Bush! "

This is just my opinion: Short, Direct, and to the point. But a little over the top with the Armaggedon from the middle east.
If you could tie this with someone believable like China, Russia, etc.
But all in all very Jericho.
Then again I've never been good at poems, and this is just one man opinion.
Or maybe instead of missles, using suitcase bombs from the middle east that would really give it that real feel.
