Who's your inspiration, it can be anybody really but for me personally it was my grandfather. He was a great role model and teacher for me throughout my life. Whenever things get tough either at home or work or just generally i think about what he endured during his life and it puts all my minor issues into perspective. Here's a short speech made by a member of parliament in the Northern Territory regarding my grandfather. He really was a larger than life figure who was just as much at ease talking to a pri-minister at a formal dinner or shooting the breeze with a cattle hand around the campfire.

Who has been your inspiration and why.

I don't know who has really inspired me but I will say that my Grandfather had an effect on the way I live. He always pounded diplomacy, diplomacy, diplomacy into my head. He was not a very diplomatic person in the way he dealt with others but I always try to deal with people without offending or starting a fight. He also said "a place for everything and everything in it's place," which has led me to be somewhat obsessive about keeping a straight house. I cannot enjoy myself if I am surrounded by clutter. So I suppose that is inspiration to an extent.

My inspiration?

It changes all the time...but, right now it's Steve Prefontaine.
