Did you even read the artical you wanker?

"Russian approach to low observability (LO) technologies is completely different from US Stealth and offers complete furtiveness of the protected object at a significantly lower price."

They have to have this "significantly lower price" because they can't afford to deploy and maintain a US type system, so they have to use a cheaper system!

First of all, I think you choose a poor title for your post!

Now about the technical aspect of the technology. Plasma may not be as low tech as it seems:
www.aeronautics.ru... " target="_blank" class="postlink" rel="nofollow">Plasma and Stealth

I found this while doing research on the B-2 Antigravity Research Project. In case you don't have time to read it right now, here's the jest of it:
Radar Absorbing Materials (RAM) work by generating and holding a plasma field around the aircraft. It is accutaly this plasma field that absorbs and cancels out the incoming RADAR energy.

So the Russians are using the same principal we use on our stealth in the USA, they are just appling it in a diffrent way then we do.

So do your homework on the topic, before you make a clame Raptor!
