Steven Greer at LA Conscious Life Expo, page 11

I'm jumping in kind of late in the game here, but I just finished reading this entire thread and I thought I'd throw in my .02....

The question was raised, "Why isn't Greer's proof all over the major media, why won't he come forward and release all his proof?"

I feel I should point out, sometime last year there was a special on ABC, hosted by Peter Jennings, and according to Greer he gave them EVERYTHING, all his pictures and footage, documents, everything he had.... and what ended up showing on ABC was a "dog and pony" show, a carnival act....

They used NONE of the footage he had given them, and instead they had all these seemingly credible scientists and authority figures going "ah, yep, UFOs are still a big mystery....."

Which reinforces the point I've been making in the other Greer thread.... the mainstream media is still tightly controlled and sanitized by the real powers-that-be in the government, and they simply WILL NOT allow the proof to come out in the media....

Also, to those demanding proof.... what level of footage would you consider satisfactory? I mean he could show a video of a craft touching down, and opening up, and obvious extraterrestrial beings walking out, ala 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'.... and I'm sure everybody would be screaming "oh come on, that's SO 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind', he obviously got together with some film studio and used special effects and CGI to produce that....."

I mean we have reached the point where we can produce FAKE videos that are far more realistic than anything Greer could produce at a real live contact event! How do we tell what's real and what's produced any more?

Also, I'm surprised no one ever seems to ask this question: what if the ETs have GOOD REASONS for not touching down and getting out of their craft and walking around?

What if they are prohibited from doing so by the 'Galactic Federation' or whatever? What if they have something similar to the Prime Directive from Star Trek, that prohibits them from interacting with humans on that level? Maybe they are only allowed to fly around in the sky and make their presence known, but not directly interfere with our world....

What if they have legitimate safety concerns? What if they have been SHOT AT and killed before, as some of the DP witnesses claim? Maybe they're afraid someone will pull out a gun and start shooting if they get out of their crafts?

What if they can't breathe our atmosphere?

What if their home planet is a very different size than ours and we have either too much or too little force of gravity for them to get out and walk around?

Just some food for thought....

Also, "GreerIsAFraud" raised the issue of him claiming to be able to levitate.

I don't have my copy of the book handy, but from what I remember, he never claimed to be able to levitate AT WILL. Only that once, in the middle of one especially mystical experience, he started to levitate off the ground a couple feet, and as soon as his critical mind kicked in and he thought "what the hell, I'm levitating?!", he dropped right back down. And I don't remember anything about him levitating two cars or whatever. Do you have a page number for that?

As for the claim that black ops people gave him cancer.... the actual claim is that himself, his assistant Shari Adamiak, a US congressman they were working closely with at the time, AND his pet dog, ALL got the exact same kind of cancer AT THE SAME TIME. Too big of a coincidence, to be a coincidence. The claim is that a specific type of directed energy weapon which can affect people at the cellular level was used to do this....
