China unveils Jian-10 fighter

No more purchasing Russian Sukhois for China it appears. I didn't know that China is only the fourth country in the world capable of developing its own advanced fighter aircraft, engines and air-to-air missiles.

I'm not familiar with Taiwan's airforce. Any ideas on dogfight outcomes? How important is this new fighter in China's plans?
