WASHINGTON -- Federal regulators have approved a new weight-loss drug aimed not at man, but at man's best friend.

I don't know about this. But to me, it doesn't sound so good. I am against most medications for humans, let alone for animals.

What ever happened to proper nutrition and exercise?

I was very surprised also when I heard abou the fat pill for dogs. I guess that the same way that many people like to be couch potatoes and stay away from exercising, their pets may also be in the same boat.

People should just walk their dogs more. Cheaper for them, plus they can lose weight too
