This is a diet drug, aimed at the owners of obese canines. Estimated to be 5% of the canine population in the U.S.

WASHINGTON -- Federal regulators have approved a new weight-loss drug aimed not at man, but at man's best friend.

The Food and Drug Administration gave its OK Friday to the Pfizer drug Slentrol, designed to help manage the weight of obese dogs.

I don't know about this. But to me, it doesn't sound so good. I am against most medications for humans, let alone for animals.

What ever happened to proper nutrition and exercise?
