Township are trying to figure out what crashed through the roof Tuesday night damaging a local home.
Authorities got a call early today that a metal object the size of a golf ball had punched a hole through the roof of a house last night, damaging the tile on the bathroom floor below.

I saw this on tv. According to the people the object went through their roof, sheetrock and some other material and landed in their house. Faster than a bullet they said. The FAA said it isn't from a plane, and it had signs of heat exposure.

It could be a meteor, there where meteors over the sky during that time. But maybe it was something else?

It's pretty interesting.

It's probably an iron based meteorite. This has happened several times before. Good post though.

I know this thread topic was started previous to all the others I've seen so far, but this one already has a large number of responses.

In recognition of the precedence, I've awarded enjoies05 1000 points to make up for any possible lost points.

Sorry, but because of the activity on the newer thread, I'm closing this one.
