Bird Flu Raging in Vietnam
The title of this article is – Bird Flu Raging in Vietnam.
I don’t think it’s ‘raging’ but there are multiple reports of more and more cases. Three communes in two districts have bird flu according to Nguyen Hien Trung, head of Hau Giang’s animal health department. Also, the head of Bac Lieu’s department of agriculture and rural development said that more H5N1 positive poultry deaths had been reported in Hong Dan, Hoa Binh, Vinh Loi, and Gia Rai districts on Sunday. H5N1 has hit at least 13 districts in the three provinces. Tens of thousands of fowl have been slaughtered.
I wouldn’t call this ‘raging’, but it is definitely stepping up in numbers. Read more here –
