Here is a thread where you can post your words of wisdom.
The Acquisition of power is paramount to all other endeavors: pleasure is a tool of the powerful or a master of a fool.

That is a real good quote. The quote I've lived by is "Mind over mater". However when I was about 9 years old, having gone through all the crap
with an abusive control freak of a dad, my mom told me that the wounds would heal over time and I might forgive my dad. To which I replied, "When it
comes to what I've been through, you can forgive, but you can never forget".
It blew her, my stepdad, and the rest of my family away. I thought little of it, as my innocence only of being a child dealing with problems that I
shouldn't have had to deal with, only made me tell the truth and what I felt, and still feel at the time. Now at my age of 22, my mom still quotes me
to family and friends and they are astonished when they hear who's mouth these words came from. And when I think about it, I have forgiven, but have
not forgotten.
Another quote I love is,
"Life is an adventure in forgiveness".

US editor & essayist (1915 - 1990)

If you posses only street smarts, you're undesirable.
If you posses only book smarts, you're unreliable.
If you posess both, you're undeniable.

Traditional rules, supply and demand--they're secondary. But to rise above those rules, to know when to break them, requires absolute personal
commitment.

I have always found these words of wisdom to be true, weather you believe in the bible or not, no matter, let the words sink in, they are precise, and
true
“As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.”
Proverbs 26:11

I love people. I love my family, my children . . . but inside myself is a place where I live all alone and that's where you renew your springs
that never dry up.

Sentimentality is synonymous with vulnerability.
