for the Gelsenkirchen club.
Kevin Kuranyi struck the only goal for Stuttgart whose 1-0 win at home to Hannover kept them third - a spot that would mean a Champions League
qualifying spot.

Marcelinho (penalty) and Alexander Madlung all scored for the capital club.

for the men from Nuremberg. Martin Meichelbeck's late goal was in vain for Bochum.
