Kim Clijsters' remarkable comeback from injury continued on Saturday as she swept past Maria Sharapova to win the Nasdaq-100 Open title.
The former world number one won 6-3 7-5 in Miami to make it back-to-back tournament victories in the United States. Clijsters also won in Indian Wells two weeks ago. The event in Miami was only the Belgian's third since returning to the tour following a long-term wrist injury.
