Belgium's Tom Boonen won a leg of the Paris-Nice cycling race for the second straight day, capturing Tuesday's shortened stage in which six-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong finished in the chasing pack.

Armstrong is using this race as a warmup for the Tour and is not placing a priority on winning. He is in 72nd place overall, 1 minute, 35 seconds behind Boonen, the new leader.

Armstrong, is a little behing now, but then again this is a warm-up, maybe he should start kicking it into gear a little bit more. He needs to send a statment that he is here to win it. He can't just say it, he has to do it.

One has to wonder if his heart is in it anymore. I mean, what?, 6 in a row? Going for 7?

Sometimes, even though you feel you want to compete, the body just goes: Dude! Enough already!

Or he is playing opossum. As long as he still dominates in the mountains, I don't think he is going to have a problem.
