I was listening to the news this morning about the guy that tried to climb the gates at Buckingham Palace after a boozy Christmas office party. He was immediately arrested nad held for 24 hours. He was then released.

An official for the palace said that within seconds off the attempted security breach they were made aware by a combination of IR/UV devices, thermal imaging cameras, motion detectors, heat detectors and other 'classified' devices. Unusual for them to openly list a great deal of the perimeter defences on the national news it thought.

Good to know old Liz sleeps safe though!

or they could just be BSing people by saying they have all this fancy kit when infact the only reason the guy was nicked so quick is that he was spotted by someone in the palace.

Hi Ben!!

Well, it's nice to know that there's some security there - after Michael Fagin's rude interruption in 1982, there *had* to be some improvements!!
