ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Jess Strom matched her career high with 29 points to help No. 23 Penn State beat Michigan 76-61 on Thursday night.
Down by three at halftime, the Lady Lions (14-7, 9-1 Big Ten) opened the second half with a 27-9 run to take a 52-37 lead.
Tanisha Wright scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half for Penn State.
Tabitha Pool led Michigan (5-16, 1-9) with 22 points, and Ta'Shia Walker added 16. The Wolverines have lost 12 of their last 13 games.
