Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor had arthroscopic surgery on his injured left knee Saturday.

Taylor, who had the medial collateral ligament repaired, missed the final two games of the regular season due to the ailment. His streak of 46 consecutive games started came to an end because of the injury.

Dr. John Uribe performed the procedure in south Florida and Taylor is expected to make a full recovery.

Taylor ran for 1,224 yards and only two touchdowns this season. He also had a receiving TD as the Jaguars finished the year 9-7.
