The bottom three in Coca-Cola League Two all picked up points on an afternoon of limited action on Saturday.
Only five games took place due to the third round of the FA Cup but the struggling trio of Cambridge, Kidderminster and Rushden & Diamonds all claimed
encouraging results.
Kidderminster were actually the only side of three to win, beating play-off hopefuls Lincoln 2-1 at Aggborough. Lincoln had taken an early lead
through Francis Green but Harriers hit back to win with goals from Blair Sturrock and Simon Russell.
That win increased their advantage over bottom side Cambridge to three points, but the Us also had a good day, earning a 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers.
Shane Tudor claimed the Cambridge goal in the 26th minute, just moments after Junior Agogo had opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
Rushden earned their point in a goalless draw with fellow strugglers Shrewsbury.
The two other games to take place also ended in draws. Bury and Leyton Orient ended scoreless at Gigg Lane and Darlington against Oxford finished
1-1.
Adolfo Gregorio netted the opener for Darlington after eight minutes with Jamie Brooks equalising just after the half hour.
