Open winner Todd Hamilton has vowed to continue to impress at Major tournaments after an extraordinary year.
Hamilton shocked the golfing world when he collected the famous claret jug at Royal Troon in only his seventh Major. Now the 38-year-old is looking
forward to tackling the world's best again in 2005.
"I'm exempt from qualifying for Majors for the next five years, and from the Open until I'm 65," said Hamilton.
"Knowing I have 20 Majors ahead of me, I have the opportunity to do well.
"Now I think I can win Majors. The more you play, the more comfortable you become. I have a good and positive attitude now."
The prospect of a good Masters tournament at Augusta is also exciting Hamilton.
"I need to get on the course a few more times, though, learn the intricacies, learn where to go," he added.
"I could do well there; the greens are so much faster, but I like fast greens."
