The Florida Times-Union reported Tuesday that the Jacksonville Jaguars have come to terms with linebacker Jason Gildon on a one-year contract.
Gildon, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, was released by the Buffalo Bills just before the start of the 2004 season. The 32-year-old spent his first
10 years with the Pittsburgh Steelers before being cut in July for salary cap reasons.
Gildon holds Pittsburgh's franchise record with 77 career sacks, including a career-high 13 1/2 during the 2000 campaign. The Oklahoma State product
recorded 12 1/2 sacks in 2001 and 11 in 1998.
In 2003, Gildon played in all 16 games with the Steelers and finished with 62 tackles and six sacks.
