MINNEAPOLIS -- Oft-injured quarterback Steve McNair left Tennessee's game at Minnesota on Sunday after reaggravating the bruised chest that kept him
in the hospital for two nights last month.
McNair, replaced by Billy Volek, was hurt on the first play of the second quarter. McNair, who was 2-for-5 for 2 yards, walked slowly off the field
with a grimace after lying on the turf for a few minutes. On an incomplete pass intended for Derrick Mason, McNair was brought down by the Vikings'
rush and apparently hurt in the pile.
McNair has battled a slew of injuries throughout his career with the Titans. He didn't play Oct. 3 at San Diego after getting hurt in the fourth
quarter the previous week against Jacksonville.
