Rich Gannon will get a career-telling third medical evaluation on his broken neck this week, when he visits noted Los Angeles specialist Dr. Robert
Gannon has received split opinions from two other specialists - one doctor told him the season, and maybe his career, is probably all but over. But
another doctor, one the Raiders referred him to, said Gannon might be OK in 6-8 weeks. That's why the 2002 MVP is going for a 3rd opinion.
Gannon will join the Raiders in Indianapolis today wearing a neck brace.
Gannon, a 17th-year veteran, fractured a vertabra at the base of his neck in a helmet-to-helmet collision with Bucs linebacker Derrick Brooks on Sept.
