Newz Forum: FOOTBALL: Tomlinson sits out practice

SAN DIEGO (AP) San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson didn't practice on Wednesday because of a groin injury.

"I'm just resting it. It shouldn't be a problem at all," Tomlinson said. He wasn't sure if he would practice on Thursday.

Tomlinson was listed as probable for Sunday's home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"He's fine," coach Marty Schottenheimer said. "We're just giving him an opportunity to rest a bit. He's proven that time off doesn't hurt."

Tomlinson rushed for 147 yards and one touchdown in last Sunday's 38-17 win over Tennessee, becoming the Chargers' career rushing leader with 4,979 yards.

The Bolts better hope that LT is able to play Sunday, he is their offense.

yeah, doubtful they can do much with him on the sidelines.
