Sept. 26, 2004 (SPORTZNEWZ) - With a devastating right hand it was over, Roy Jones was down on the canvas and the referee counted 10, and perhaps with that the career of Roy Jones came to a crushing conclusion.

Glen Johnson completely dominated the fight with his relentless aggressiveness and Jones was never able to get comfortable enough to fight his fight. He was busted up and beaten up for 8 rounds by Johnson, and finally in the 9th round the fight came to its devastating and decisive conclusion. Jones went down and hit his head on the canvas so hard he suffered a concussion. It's obvious to me that Jones is not the same fighter he was 5 years ago. His two fights with Tarver proved it, and now with this latest KO loss his career may be over for good. What's next for Jones? Only Roy Jones knows the answer to that question.

SPORTZNEWZ had Johnson winning 78/74 - 6 rounds to 2

Roy Jones
1. Complacency
2. Hype
3. Age
4. Mike Tyson Factor (intimitation)
5. Indispline
6. Other Interests

A few reasons why he may not be the fighter he use to be

I just watched the fight and Jones looked bad. I'm not taking nothing away from Johnson, he fought a great fight and put Jones under pressure from the start. But Jones hardly threw a punch throughout the whole fight and looked a shadow of his former self.

Remember that drugs test thing with Jones a little while back. Makes you wonder doesn't it...
