Athens, Greece (Sports Network) - Park Sung-Hyun captured the women's individual archery competition to give South Korea its sixth straight Olympic
gold medal in the event.
Park rallied for a 110-108 victory over countrymate Lee Sung-Jin in the gold medal match. The Koreans have won each Olympic gold since 1984.
Trailing by two points with just three arrows remaining, Park fired a finishing 9-10-10 sequence to take the lead. Lee needed 10 points on her final
arrow to force sudden death, but managed only eight.
Great Britain's Alison Williamson won the bronze medal with a 105-104 victory over Yuan Shu Chi of Taiwan. Yuan had defeated 2000 Olympic champion Yun
Mi Jin of South Korea earlier on Wednesday.
