ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Strong safety Ifeanyi Ohalete was cut by the Washington Redskins on Tuesday after starting 15 games for the team last season.
Ohalete was beaten for a 68-yard touchdown pass in a 23-20 overtime loss to Carolina Saturday night. He already had lost his starting job when the
Skins drafted Sean Taylor with the fifth overall pick in April's draft and shifted Matt Bowen to strong safety.
When he was cut, Ohalete was third on the depth chart behind Bowen and Todd Franz.
