Athens, Greece (Sports Network) - Chinese divers Lao Lishi and Li Ting won gold in women's 10-meter synchronized platform diving Monday, this after
teammates Wu Minxia and Guo Jingjing claimed gold in the three-meter synchro Saturday night.
The Chinese men's 10-meter platform tandem of Tian Liang and Yang Jinghui also claimed gold Saturday.
Lao and Li finished with 352.14 total points, more than a dozen points higher than silver medalists Natalia Goncharova and Yulia Koltunova of Russia.
Canadians Blythe Hartley and Emilie Heymans won the bronze.
The Chinese won despite missing a movement on their fourth dive.
"We were not afraid, we did not take that seriously," Lao said. "We wanted to remain as calm as possible."
Hartley and Heyman secured Canada's first medal of these Olympics.
"I am proud," their coach Mitch Gellar said. "We would prefer the silver, but then again we could have been fourth.
