Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim traded forward Vinny Prospal to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday in exchange for a second-
round pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
The 29-year-old Prospal played in all 82 regular season games last season for Anaheim and collected 19 goals and 35 assists. He was signed as a free
agent by the Mighty Ducks on July 1, 2003.
Prospal spent the 2001-02 and 2002-03 campaigns with the Lightning. He was originally drafted by Philadelphia in the third round of the 1993 Entry
Draft. In addition to the Flyers, he has also enjoyed stints with Ottawa and Florida.
The eight-year NHL veteran has totaled 107 goals and 241 assists in 549 career contests.
