Albany, NY (Sports Network) - Nicole Perrot posted a six-under 65 on Sunday to win the The Albany Futures Golf Classic by three strokes. Perrot
completed the event at 10-under-par 203.
Perrot, who won the GMAC Futures Golf Classic earlier this year, moves to third place on the Futures Tour Money list with the top-five earning their
LPGA Tour cards for next year.
"I really tried not to pay attention to the scores," said Perrot. "I knew I was playing good."
Kyeong Bae, the first-round leader, closed with a two-under 69 to take second place at seven-under-par 206. Erica Blasberg, the 2004 Laconia Savings
Bank Futures Golf Classic winner, took third place at minus-six thanks to her second straight three-under 68.
Stephanie George and Katie Allison shared fifth place at four-under-par 209.
Jimin Kang, the tour's leading money winner, closed with a four-under 67 to end at minus-two and in a tie for 11th.
