Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Lightning Monday agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with left wing Fredrik Modin. As per team policy,
terms of the deal were not released.
The 29-year-old Modin was a key contributor to Tampa Bay's championship team last season. On the year, he had 29 goals and 28 assists while playing in
all 82 regular-season games.
Modin, a former All-Star, was third on the team with 19 playoff points.
For his career, which spans a total of eight seasons, Modin has 152 goals and 156 assists while also playing with Toronto.
