Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and center/right wing Rob Niedermayer have agreed to a one-year contract on Saturday.
Financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
Niedermayer, 29, completed his 11th NHL season in 2003-04, posting 28 points with 34 penalty minutes in 55 games for the Ducks.
He missed a total of 27 games due to two separate groin injuries during last year's campaign.
Drafted by Florida in the first round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, he has in appeared in 696 career NHL games, netting 129 goals with 207 assists with
575 penalty minutes.
