well Russian the durablity of plastic and composite plastics aer really reliable. One of the greatist advantages of platics is that there much cheaper. I doubt the military will sacrifice duribilty at all i guarentee you these next generation firearms will surpass the old ones.

Well, the rifle has a scope. Perhaps it is an electronic elevation toggle.

To put it more simple/accurate.. those + and - buttons most likely control range (and other.. as there are 2 other buttons also, most like used to browse through the funtions..) settings on the sight.

I think that F2000 doesn't rely so much on electronics.
There are diffrent scopes, also the ones that don't use this +- button thingies

After all i selected the image, and the text is all mine.. (did it by myself..)

It really would serve Blair right if Putin would use some Judo on him..

Know this..

Putin came out of that just fine..

Imagine Bush in same situation..

He would come out with couple of dozens broken bones.

Putin is good and cool.

So much more than you can say about these other 'great leaders..'

Putin is someone one can really like, his personality and background is attractive for the public I think. And the mason pawn... well, the antibush community is growing... though he had a great chance after 9/11...

This is only the begining..

XM8 has a long way to go to become M8.
(And in meantime we can depate and discuss this weapon over here..)

And i think this topic will be useful for those wanting info on those weapons for many years to come..

In years when people here are fighting which is better AN-94/Groza or M8 series..
(Future 'aks' and 'm16s'..)

And then seriously,

Ill try and find some new info on these both tomorrow, now i am too tired..
(FN 2000 and XM8..)

Btw,

I havent even tryed yet to find any info as i have been just waiting to see what you can dig up on these..

Hey all, I just watched a show on this gun about 2 weeks ago. The +/- options let the user select range that shows in the scope/veiwfinder.

The range though is for, get this...the 20mm (or was ir 40mm?) rounds in the under-barrel weapon. They are big freaking bullets that have an explosive core and are AP rounds. Bad guys hiding in a house? Aim at the door and give a +5 or 10 feet.

Fire the round and BANG...through the door...5-10 feet in...KABOOM. All that is left is to say...CLEAR.

Button is used to set delay for the (40mm?) grenades..

Delay after penetration/after hitting a obstacle..

From what I saw. I hope I'm talking the right hardware. Looks exact same, but the bullets I saw were 20mm, I am pretty sure. Maybe the OICW and not the F2000?

But, yeah...that was it. Delay penetration. They showed a bunch of shots. You could have no delay, use the penetration only (no explosion), or set delay. They were shooting through walls, windows, doors, cement, etc...

Crazy!
