Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have agreed to terms with goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov on a one-year contract with a team option for a second year. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Bryzgalov played in 64 games with Cincinnati of the American Hockey League last season. He posted a 27-25-10 record with a 2.32 goals-against average.

The 24-year-old native of Russia earned his first NHL win in his only game for the Ducks this past season, stopping 26 shots in a 3-2 overtime triumph on March 16 at Phoenix.

Bryzgalov, who ranked first among AHL goaltenders in games and minutes played, was selected by Anaheim in the second round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft with the 44th overall pick.
