Iraqi Colonel: WMD Could've Been Launched in 45 Minutes

I seem to recall reading something about the bush senior administration pre 90's, sending sadam the basic WMD's kit?

All the stuff you need to make more. If Sadam's army mixed it all up with all the other unmarked shells that would explain why it wasn't used. They couldn't find the dam stuff.lol

I supported Bush removing sadam at first. When he gave up looking for bin ladin I became suspisoius. He had us all fearfull that an attack was imminent.

Everything he has done has been a major # up.

I know that nobody cares what I think but I couldn't care less if there was WMD, I just liked seeing Saddam get his ass kicked.

If Lt. Col. al-Dabbagh says that an attack could have been launched within 45 minutes, shouldn't he know where the "cases of WMD warheads...shipped under cover of darkness to front-line units, including his own, near the end of 2002" were moved to? Has he given us any of the locations to which the weapons were moved? I didn't see anything about this question in the story.

If there was WMD evidence, the White House would be preaching it on the mountains. I'm sure of that. You wouldn't be able to hear the end of the evidence if it existed.

Good point Heelstone. We have heard nothing about WMD's. For months and months Bush and Blair preached to us the threat that Saddam posed to the world with his 'ready to deploy' weapons of mass destruction and a whole host of chemical weapons that he would happily use on anyone, even his own people. The war comes. There is no major resistance and no chemical or WMD's are used. Don't you think that if Saddam had these weapons he would use them against the #ing army heading straight towards him? Why would the brutal dictator think twice about using all these dangerous weapons against an invading force if he used them on his own people? He had none, thats you answer. Saddam wanted to prevent an American led invasion as long as possible becuase he knew it was going to happen. This is why he played with the UN.

The main part of the fighting is over and after months and months of being told about all the chemical factorys with all the sataliet photos that Cheney showed us etc. THERE IS NOTHING, REPEAT, NOTHING Now Bush and Blair say how good the regime change was, how they 'liberated the Iraqi people'. They say this now because they need new justification of what they did to cover their lies. It's so plain to see.

Ahh, yes John/Fulcrum, coming from you, I got alot of things "wrong".....maybe so, time will tell, right?

Three things though:
* Hussein Kamal and other Iraqi defectors, etc. Col. al-Dabbagh is but one of many.....

* Saddam is playing 'hide and seek'.....meaning: he is no longer in power. His regime is gone. Iraqi will survive and will proceed and be better off than it was under his rule.

* No matter if a nuclear bomb is found buried in 100 feet of sand in Iraq or if a warehouse is found to be filled with chemical and biological drums and barrels, etc......Many of you will continue to believe that Saddam had no WMD....you see, it boils down to what one percieves as being proof.....amounts come into play when those that believe to the contrary call: FOUL.
Saddam had them, I have NO doubt's, some have have been found, all evidence leads to the fact that he had them, yet no matter the amounts of WMD that will be found, the drums will beat to the contrary, eh?

Makes no difference to me, just as many of you feel about Bush, I feel about Saddam..........the world and Iraq is a far better place without him.....

not true... I would wait untill all the libs and dems stick thier foot in their mouth preaching down to war with Iraq/Bush, and then tell the world about all the weapons that the 22 nation force found in Iraq. Also sweep the 04' elections. It is so perfect....

And you say Sadam is not responsible for deaths, where the # have you been... Come on now. Him and his sons killed 10's if not 100's of thousands of people over the years. We have found Mass graves there, he sent in chemical weapons against the Kurds and killed thousands of them. I use to respect your postings, but after this one, I just don't know what the hell you are thinking. Sadam has been a rule by death leader for many years and would be till the end of his rule. He performed experiments on people and animals similar to Hitler in the concentration camps where he tested out new Chemical weapons. I still remember that video of him using that nerve gas on that dog in the gas chamber. I hope he is #ing dead and if not, it is only time.

All this is is the same damn thing, again and again and again. It doesn't matter if Saddam Hussein himself was stood up in front of 1,000 TV cameras with an entire mountain of missiles, anthrax, sarin, mustard gas etc behind him and said "This was mine, and I used it on my own people, and could have used it anywhere I wanted." Even that wouldn't matter because there will always be some pitiful people who can think of nothing else but "America is evil". I say # them. People in the Iraqi government have admitted WMDs existed there. Everyone who is literate knows that Hussein had used chemical weapons on his own people numerous times in the past too! Instead of believing a former Iraqi military official, I should just believe Uninen because he posted "Trust me, there were no WMDs."
