MINNEAPOLIS -- Sam Cassell had surgery Tuesday to repair torn cartilage in his hip, and his agent said the Minnesota Timberwolves point guard will recover in plenty of time for training camp.

I find it interesting in the article that it sounds like the agent had input as to whether Sam got the surgery or not. Kinda seems out of line to me. At any rate, I hope Sam's feeling up for the season without any lingering effects from this injury.

you can see how the wolves were not as great without cassell and hudson.

Yeah, if they were healthy, it'd be a different result, I think. But, you can't change the past, and the Pistons did an awesome job.
