The winningest coach in Wake Forest baseball history has stepped down after 17 seasons. George Greer led the Demon Deacons to 3 ACC titles, but struggled last season.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest baseball coach George Greer stepped down after 17 seasons Saturday and will take another position within the athletic department.

17 years is a long time. Too bad they never won a national title. Though winning 3 ACC titles is no easy feat.
