Mahyar Monshipour retained his WBA super bantamweight crown with an eighth-round stoppage of Salim Medjkoune on Thursday.
Medjkoune made a solid start but Monshipour hit back to hurt his fellow Frenchman in rounds five and seven.
Monshipour (25-2-2, 16KOs) then floored Medjkoune (43-5-1, 21KOs) twice in round eight, forcing the 32-year-old's corner to stop the fight.
It was Monshipour's second defence of the title he won last July.
