(BBC SPORTS) - Michael Gomez beat Justin Juuko inside two rounds in Widnes to defend his WBU super-featherweight title.
Gomez put the former Commonwealth champion down in the first round with Juuko looking completely out of sorts.
Referee Mickey Vann stepped in to stop the fight after a vicious flurry of punches from Gomez left the Ugandan stumbling across the ring.
The Manchester-based fighter said: "I took the gamble and beat him. I'll face any super-featherweight in the world."
Gomez added: "I want to be in wars, I want to face top names and I want to add to my collection of titles."
The win improves Gomez's record to 31-5, with 21 KOs.
Gomez won the vacant WBU belt by stopping Ghana's Ben Odamattey inside three rounds in April.
