ST. LOUIS (AP) - Mike Tyson has been granted a license to fight in Missouri in case promoters decide to bring his next bout to St. Louis.
Tyson got a license from Missouri's regulatory Office of Athletics, its administrator said Wednesday. Tim Lueckenhoff said Tyson's camp did not
specify a date for any bout even though the former heavyweight champion's manager is trying to arrange a fight July 31 against journeyman Kevin
Tyson's handlers are shopping the fight to several venues, including Louisville, Kentucky.
The fight would be Tyson's first since Feb. 22, 2003, when he knocked out Clifford Etienne in 49 seconds in Memphis, Tennessee. Tyson has fought just
three times since 2001.
