Argentina's Guillermo Coria continued his impressive winning streak on clay with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 victory over Russia's Marat Safin to reach his second
successive final at the Monte Carlo Masters.
The 22-year-old third seed gained his 25th win in a row on the surface stretching back to his semi-final defeat at last year's French Open, as well as
a place in Sunday's final against Rainer Schuettler.
The Argentine, who lost the 2003 final to Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain, was only in trouble briefly in the second set against Safin and he is hungry
for another title.
