Business Wire - April 15, 2004
DALLAS, Apr 15, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Television and Film Company (Pink Sheets:ATFT) announced today that World Heavyweight Champion Larry Holmes will be starring in the company's upcoming reality television project in development, AMERICAN CHAMPION.

American Television and Film CEO Tommy Habeeb commented, "After reading Larry Holmes autobiography, I realized we had to have him. Larry's life story optimizes what we are trying to accomplish with our show. Larry is an American Champion!"

Larry Holmes still holds the distinction today of being the longest-reigning World Heavyweight Champion in boxing history (1978-1985), second only to Joe Louis. Larry defended his title twenty consecutive times (all in all, fighting a total of twenty-six title bouts throughout his career) and held the record for forty-eight straight wins, next to boxing legend Rocky Marciano.

The reality-tv show AMERICAN CHAMPION will showcase ten amateur fighters competing over eleven weeks, with the best boxer given the opportunity to fight World Heavyweight Champion Larry Holmes. If the best amateur boxer is able to beat Larry Holmes, the boxer will win a one million dollar cash prize. More information about the new show is available at www.AmericanChampionTV.com
