What is phe point of breaking stones and other stuffs when the other operator may shot you from long range??? 90% of battle is done by firearms only 10% of modern combat is done with close contact fight instead of CQB.

I dont know if they will catch up with Spesnaz cause there government probably doesn't let them beat the #en live # out of their special forces.

thats why US cant catch up either.

LOL and this makes them better how ? If anything it makes them worse being brutal isn't the sign of a good special forces soldier. This doesn't make them any better in hand to hand combat or better shots. In fact it is very unprofessional.
We have seen how the Chechans have kicked Spetnaz ass, beating each other up didn't help them

It seems that when Petnaz is called in to resolve a hostage situation, they kill more civilians than bad guys eg. Moscow theater seige, Beslan etc.

They wouldn't be considered tier 1 operators. You try and compare them to the SEALS or Delta, don't make me laugh. Against the SAS .....

I'm not sure how being allowed to beat the snot out of prospective members makes them better than the SAS or U.S. Navy SEAL's. Please...

From all reports, Spetnaz's level of competence leaves a bit to be desired...Chechnya and Beslan being the prime examples.

Anyone got anything current to add to this? How are GROM now that the command has changed? What have they been up to?

Any current pics? Most of the links on the previous page are broken...
