He has done it again. Dale Jr. wins in Atlanta. After a disappointing 35th place finish last week in Las Vegas, Jr. was able to outlast his opponents
at the end of the race to take the checkered flag. The win moves Jr. back up the standings to 3rd.
www.foxsports.com Junior bounces back: Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn't waste any time in washing the taste of that 35th-place showing at Las Vegas out of his mouth. Just
one week after that sub-par showing knocked him out of the points lead, Junior bounced back with a win at the Golden Corral 500. Junior regained the
lead for good on lap 310, then blew away the field to the checkered flag, holding off a pack of determined Dodges. In doing so, Junior moved back into
third in the points race. Meanwhile, points leader Matt Kenseth's bid for a third-straight win ended with a sixth-place showing -- not bad,
considering he went down a lap after being penalized for spinning on pit road.
