American college football's best receiver Larry Fitzgerald has decided to enter the 2004 NFL draft. The University of Pittsurgh second-year star
confirmed his decision four days after the NFL ruled he was eligible to enter the draft.
The 20-year-old would not have been eligible under an NFL rule preventing players from entering the draft until he is three years out of high school.
But the NFL ruled his senior-year spell at a military school could be counted. The decision on Fitzgerald came shortly after a court ruling on Ohio
State running back Maurice Clarett. A federal judge said he could enter the draft despite being just two years removed from high school.Fitzgerald has
been projected as a top-five pick.
