The St. Louis Blues acquired veteran defenseman Eric Weinrich from the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday in a move aimed at helping to fill the void
caused by season-ending injuries to two key defensemen. In exchange, the Flyers will get a fifth-round pick in the 2004 draft.
Is this a good move for the flyers?
Weinrich himself is a bit shocked about the move but with the glut of defensemen, including the injured Jim Vandermeer, Dennis Seidenberg and Eric
Desjardins,Weinrich was picked out as the one to go.Philadelphia expects Desjardins, out with a broken right forearm, back in four to six weeks.
Seidenberg will miss another two months with a broken left leg, and Vandermeer has been out with a separated right shoulder, but has been cleared to
play.
So i say again is this a good move for the Flyers?
