The Jaguars are looking at controversial wide reciever Keyshawn Johnson and may try to sign him once he is released by the Buccaneers.

The Jags are doing a extensive background check on Johnson and there is every possibility of signing him once he is cut by the Buccaneers.Johnson, the league's No.1 draft pick in 1996 by the New York Jets, was deactivated for the final seven games last season after being declared a locker-room distraction by Tampa Bay coach Jon Gruden.Johnson still has four years left on the eight-year, $56 million contract he signed in 2000, making him all but untradable. That contract will void when Johnson is released.

That would be a great addition to the Jags. they cant really do anything now until the bucs officaly realse him.

Also the bucs are looking at former RB of the bengals Corey Dillion, as they bengals have made it known that there number 1 prioty is signing rudi.

Rudi did a very good job with the bengals and should be the starting abck there next season. As for Johnson i dunno if the Jags are the right choice for him to goto. I see him with a more super bowl competitor team.
